Why Instablogs?
Today somebody asked me a simple question.
What you want from Instablogs? What is Instablogs’ core mission?
A thousand answers came to my mind instantly.
We serve news real fast, covering almost entire planet. Have a very colorful and vibrant community… etc
But then the real answer struck me
Imagine a world without borders.
Imagine a world without wars.
Imagine a world without cultural bindings.
Imagine a world interacting.
Imagine Instablogs.
Yes, this is what we are doing. And I, with the entire team of Instablogs, am proud of it.
And if you have any doubt, I invite you to watch our Daily news video show - Global Report.Every day we have 5-6 stories from different citizen journalists from entirely different regions, cultures, nationality, dialects coming together and working in a team to produce this show.
I firmly believe if we can bring common people together and let them communicate, we can solve some big problems.

Yes, I through Instablogs have met so many people from such diverse places that it is really unbelievable. The best part is that I get the opinion from the horse’s mouth not from a correspondent who is reporting for his audience.
My opinion about many thing’s have changed, because here I find people persuading me with the real reasons; nobody imposes his view on me.
It has been really great and I hope the journey continues eternally.

Just a couple of days back I too admitted that I have become addicted to Instablogs. Prefer spending time and energy here over the usual routine of going thru the fwded mails :)

Instablogs is great. Perhaps bigger and greater that one could have imagined in the world of media. This is making open media a real serious thing. But it is a few steps below what is the non-achievable, that's John Lennon's utopia that he so desired through his evergreen song - Imagine .

Being one of passionate members of this community since inception, I must acknowledge the USP of Instablogs is its strong base of citizen journalists all over the world, as opposed to other renowned and well respected media organizations who have their correspondents posted in different countries. The greatest advantage of this community is that the articles, issues and opinions raised here are straight from the horse’ mouth, as compared to reportage by foreign correspondents (of leading media organizations) whose views might be colored by their biases and prejudices. Finally I will say, coming together is beginning and working together is the success.

I ask WHY NOT ? I read somewhere GOOD THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES... and this adage perfectly fits with Instablogs. Have you ever given it a thought how life would have been without instablogs? Lemme tell it. YOU AND ME,would not have got the opportunity to talk ( through our articles and comments on a platform like this. The best part which i appreciate about Instablogs is it doesn’t suffer from prejudices and has been successful in keeping the hidden Gimmick at bay ! Good job folks at instablogs.

I call myself a journalist without any professional degree but then Instablogs I discover is the right place to gather information all around the world, to share your thoughts and learn the views of others on a wider perspective. I don’t know much but need to find out a lot…..For all, the answer is right here….

Hmmm.. not much is letf to say actually.. all has already been said, for me it started as a small stint to get back to the main heat of journalsim, after a big pregnancy break.. now, I try and devote more time to it than even my husband and daughter.. there are exceptions though.. but did I hear anyone say.. is this called addiction??
